Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026. Area Code Agency operates Certified for approved customers, creatives, and verified team members.

Information you provide

We process your name, email, password hash, access-request introduction, requested role, email-verification status, administrator decisions, profile details, city and state, optional public contact email, company, phone number, social links, header and profile images, availability, travel preference, portfolio, messages, uploaded files, and reports. We use these to authenticate you, provide collaboration features, and protect the workspace. Your city and state assign a nearby major area; we do not request GPS location or contacts.

Who can see your information

Workspace content is available to authorized members. Direct messages are restricted to their participants. Administrators receive access-request notifications and review the information you submit to approve or deny membership and choose your role and workspaces. Pending accounts cannot access collaboration content and can withdraw their request and delete their pending account. Verified @areacodeagency.com addresses can join with Team access. Administrators manage access and receive reports; reported material may be reviewed for safety. Your card draft is private to you and the admin review process. When you submit with consent and an admin approves it, that version of your Certified Card becomes public to anyone with its link, including your name, photos, headline, biography, city/state, selected work, and the optional public contact email, phone number, company, and social links you choose to include. Recipients can save these contact details. The member map is accessible only to Team, Client, Management, and Admin accounts. Approved members remain on that map even when unavailable, with an availability label. Creative accounts cannot view the map. Edits remain private until reviewed; your previous approved version stays public until replaced or unpublished. Administrators and managers can still search member names, profile photos, specialties, and locations to assign people to workspaces they manage. Clients can invite approved creators to their own client workspaces; creators receive the workspace name, description, and inviter name and choose whether to accept. Invitations expire after seven days.

Storage and service providers

The service uses OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare storage and infrastructure. Passwords are hashed. Message bodies, uploaded files, report text, and push tokens are encrypted in application storage. This is not end-to-end encryption: the service decrypts authorized content to deliver it. Infrastructure providers process data to operate the service under their applicable terms.

Notifications and email

Push notifications are optional. If enabled, Apple processes a device token and generic update alerts. Private message text is not included in push payloads. Email delivery, when enabled, sends verification and password-reset codes using the configured provider. Notification permission can be changed in iOS Settings, and signing out unregisters that session’s device.

Your choices and deletion

Edit your profile, remove uploaded profile selections, change availability, unpublish your card to remove its public link and map listing, block members, or delete your account in account settings. Account deletion removes your active account, profile, authored messages, files, notification registrations, and related account records. Other members’ independent contributions remain. People who saved your public card or contact details may retain their own copies after unpublishing or deletion. Infrastructure security logs and backup retention follow the hosting providers’ retention processes; contact us for details.

No advertising tracking

Certified does not include advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or sale of personal information. Device notification identifiers are used only for requested app notifications.
